When I had braids and they did that in the front I would tie a scarf in the front like a head band. So try that, it will work for as long as you need. Just get different colors to match your outfits. Hope that helps.

Get some head bands or scarves that match your out fits,it will look very stylish and no one will know you are trying to cover the new growth. Good luck
