Nope they don't. Why?? because hair only grows between 1/4 %26amp; 1/2 an inch per month, that's all. Massages will help stimulate the follicles, but they don't exactly make the hair grow, the same is pretty much true for the braids.

no, in fact they can cause hair breakage. Any pulling and tugging on the hair can cause breakage-esp on wet hair. You want to make your hair grow, take vitamins, eat healthy and scalp stimulations. Your hair is dead, so braiding it isnt going to help it grow, because your hair grows from inside the scalp. So buying products to put on the hair to make it grow do they work? Remember hair grows from inside. Scalp massages promote blood flow to the scalp which can help hair grow.

I dont' think so. You can't make your hair or nails grow any faster or slower, just healthier. I have heard that if you massage the scalp it will help hair grow faster but I find this really hard to believe. After all hair is just dead cells.

no, even though it's a myth that a lot of people believe. actually we are given the impression in does but it's only an illusion, if you keep you hair braided for 2months then when you undo the hair you have two perceptions:

1. your hair grew a lot more than you would notice but this is only due to not having seen your unbraided hair in a long time, it really grew the lenght normal hair usually does

2. you lost a lot of hair, but this also false because we lose hair every day the only difference it's that you see all the hair you would've normally lost all at once... and yeah pulling and tugging doesnt help
