because I have made a bet with a girl to grow my hair and have corn-rolls and take a pic during the summer and I dont like my hair to be long...what are some ideas on how to put my hair by then??

It doesn't need to be long to get cornrows, just find someone who can grab your hair. But straight hair is trickier than curly or kinky hair, so it's harder for the braids to stay in place. They would probably need to set your hair if it isn't as long for the braids to stay, so you should go to a barber shop or salon to get them done - if you want yours to look halfway decent. And stick to straightbacks, please. Designs would look ridiculous.
Until then, just get a cool hairstyle that won't be too much or you from your stylist.
Or just rock a pony.

As long as its grab-able and make sure the person that does it does not grease it (meaning put hair oil) before braiding it, it will make it slippery and hard to grab...I braid hair so u can email me for any more questions.
White boys can have braids they just have to know how to wear it.
