You need to visit a pro.

But I know they are going to suggest a cut. I don't know how bad your hair is or how long but expect a pro to advice you to cut out the damage. Sorry but there is no way to fix split ends, you have to cut them. Braids are not good for damaged hair. Chemicals are a definite No No. The chemicals you put on your hair probably made a bad situation worse.

My suggestion would be to cut out all the damage and go natural. try double strand twist, comb twist, and other natural hairstyles for short natural hair.

I would say to just cut it off and start over. it sounds like too much damage to repair. . . Besides - -there is freedom in a short cut! Enjoy a 5 minute shower instead of having to spend 30 minutes on just your hair. . . Good luck and it will grow back.

you know what is good---

Stop using the conditioners for one thing--take a break--try getting a good trim if you need one in the last 3 months.

Take a real egg yolk and mush it through your clean wet hair, wrap it into a bag and let it sit for 30 minutes and then shampoo it out--that can work.

OR

Olive oil--after you wet your hair and wash out all the product, take olive oil into a squeeze bottle and pour it down into your hair--as if you applied hair coloring.

Squeeze it through your hair %26amp; make sure every bit of your hair is covered in olive oil.

After about 30-45minutes--wash out a few times w/ a residue free shampoo--do this 1x a week--after a while you should notice a difference.

Here's what you gotta do:

1. Get a vitamin E capsule (most of them comes in gel capsule form that has a liquid inside. Any brand will do.)

2. Get a needle and pop the capsule.

3. Now get your shampoo bottle and put the liquid vitamin E inside the bottle.

4. Mix the bottle.

5. Use your shampoo.

You'll notice that your hair will grow faster compared before. Trust me, this works. :) I also do this myself. :)

If you have virgin coconut oil at home, you can use this as well. Put it on hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes (You can do this at least 3x a day). Then rinse it off using your shampoo. The VCO can act as your hair lengthener and as your conditioner. :) Goodluck! :) (Refer to my avatar to see how well VCO/Vitamin E works =P)

first of all you have to take the braids out, let your hair breathe all that pulling is making your hair very weak, yes i would cut it off and start from scratch, do not relax your hair putting extra chemicals in your hair is not good, go to your local vitamin shoppe and ask for shen min advanced for women hair formula ( hair vitamins)go to carolsdaughter.com they have all natural shampoo and conditoners (its great) be patient with your hair. treat your hair to good products, your hair says alot about who you are.

yeah you should cut it off. and start from scratch. that's what I did. You probably over processed your hair. And when you put it in braids it causes split ends especially when you relax your hair and get braids emmidiatley after that does actually happen.

If a quality relaxer is applied properly and the hair is maintained properly, your hair can definitely be healthy. However, your hair will be weaker than if it were natural and will be more prone to problems.

Dont use to much heat on your hair nor comb it as much as you usually do. or anything too oily. Like tea tree oil that can be a bit drying for your hair. Try using some olive oil on your roots every morning and night before you go to bed.

you should just stick to one shampoo and conditioner.

Sleep with a satin scarf or sleep cap on your head or with a satin pillow case. This helps avoid split ends caused by the rubbing of your hair against a "rough" cotton pillow case. It also avoids moisture being wicked out of your hair into your cotton pillow case.

Wash your hair no more often than every week to week and a half. More than that can dry it out.

ok so like you can comb your hair out while you're conditioning it to remove the tangles while it's wet and relatively slick.

Oil your scalp on a regular basis with a good natural oil like shea butter, olive oil. A daily moisturizer is not a bad idea.

Do a deep conditioner or hot oil treatment once a month.

Massage your scalp on a regular basis to promote circulation and oil production.

Avoid alcohol based products unless you have a need for a water-free shampoo to cleanse your scalp.Eat a proper diet. Vitamins and protein are essential for proper hair growth.

oh yeah and I don't use any leave in treatments i tends to make my hair to soft and thins.

well anyways good luck. =]
