Do you think this would work to make my hair wavy?

If i put my hair into about 15-20 medium sized braids using all of my hair and then took a good straightener and clamp it down the braids so they would stay like that? Do you think I would need to use some kind of product to keep if shiney or from frizzing?

That sounds like a good way of making your hair wavy.

You could also when it's wet put it into braids. This would cause less damage.

I would put a frizz ease serum in just in case but its all about trial and error so try it first without serum then with.

See which works best.

You could also try scrunching it. For some people it makes it curly for some wavy. You just get a small amount of moose, rub into hands. Then using a scrunching movement all over hair do this until there is no moose left. Your hair should then dry leaving it curly/wavy.

Your idea sounds a good idea to me though.

It depends on your hair type. =)

Mine is extremely curly, I tried that before and it ended up frizzing ALOT and the top of my hair was weird because it hadnt been braided. I suggest you try it, but use some product for frizz.

Good luck!!

that might make it looked crimped. for the shine and frizz thing, try paul mitchell gloss drops. a little goes a long way and it works wonders!

To get your hair wavy put about 7 to 8 cornroll braids going straight back in your hair. Wet it thoroughly with either wrap lotion or setting lotion, dry completely, take the braids out, finger comb with some type of oil on your hands and go! It works wonders for me.
